Cheng-Khee Chee Watercolor Workshop

This master of watercolor says "In this workshop I will share all my creative experiences, including the way I synthesize the concepts and processes of both traditions to enrich my own work. The schedule will include (1) Traditional approach (2) Saturated wet process (3) Improvisational approach (4) Crinkling technique and (5) Marbling and mono-printing.
Due to the incredible interest in this workshop, TnWS has decided to run a "lottery" for placement in the class. A drawing will be held the first week in Dec of '07 for student selection and 50% of the tuition will be due at that time. If the person is unable to attend the workshop then names will be randomly drawn till the workshop is filled.
In the event there is space available by Feb 15, the workshop will then be opened to the general public. Sometimes called the Queen of Negative Painting, Canadian artist Linda Kemp will focus on creating interpretive under-painting and building layers with overlapping negative shapes.
