Dear Watermedia Artists,

I am so proud of our new TnWS website which is streamlined for easy navigation with an emphasis on the artwork for our membership and others to enjoy. I encourage our current and especially our new members to participate in the Member Gallery and to promote our new website by placing a link on your personal website to www.tnws.org. If you are not represented in the Exhibition Gallery nor have your own website, please take advantage of this opportunity by following the submission guidelines below. To keep TnWS modern and current, the new website is also smartphone and iPad® compatible.

Nick Long is managing the project along with Nathan Gassman, a designer and website developer in Manchester. Utilizing a WordPress template to develop the site, Nick and Nate were able to include most of the functionality that was on the website “wishlist.” The nature of wordpress templates allows “non-developers” to access certain types of information to make timely updates. This saves money long-term by not involving the developer for modest changes. On behalf of the board of TnWS, I would like to express to Nick Long our appreciation for volunteering to see this venture to completion.

Included in the website is a Membership Fee Form to pay your annual dues online. I encourage the use of the secure PayPal option for your payment of dues which will be a more efficient method of collection and membership management. Payment can be made through PayPal (you do not have to have a PayPal account to use this option) or with your credit card. This feature alone saves manpower and makes it easier for new members to join TnWS. (Members may also continue to mail their dues to the Membership Chair.)

I encourage every member to familiarize themselves with every link on our new website. Know where to find information. In the future, the TnWS Board will consider adding a store to the website to sell DVDs and catalogs from the biennial exhibitions. We value all of the opinions of our members and would like your input on the new website. Please use the Contact page to register your comments.
