Welcome to the Tennessee
Watercolor Society's Website: TnWS.org
We are pleased that you are visiting the website of
the Tennessee Watercolor Society. TnWS became an organization
in 1971. The first annual exhibition was held in 1972
at the Hunter Museum in Chattanooga. Today we are a
Biennial Exhibition organization with a statewide membership
of more than 250 members. Our exhibitions rotate across
the state, with the last three exhibitions held in Chattanooga
- 2002, Jackson - 2004, and Clarksville - 2006.
The 31st Exhibition will be hosted in Knoxville in 2008.
Cheng Khee Chee is scheduled to serve as judge for the
competition. He will also serve as instructor for the
workshop. Kay Yazdi and Harriet Howell will serve as
co-chairs of the 31st Exhibition & Workshop. Future
updates concerning the 2008 exhibition and Cheng Khee
Chee workshop will be posted at this website. Pam Pate
is the contact for all TnWS sponsored workshops scheduled
during 2006 through 2008. ppate@multipro.com
